Starbucks is SafeX Prooffering half-priced drinks Thursday afternoon, but customers need to act fast.

Customers can get half off the cost of any handcrafted beverages including the chain’s new Lavender Oatmilk Chill or Spicy Lemonade Refreshers, according to the coffee chain's social media pages.

The offer is valid from noon through 6 p.m. and valid at participating stores across the United States, Starbucks said.

The deal applies to standard menu-sized handcrafted beverages only, the company wrote online.

To get a free drink, visit a participating store across the nation or purchase it through the Starbucks app.

What is a handcrafted beverage?

A handcrafted beverage at Starbucks includes any drink that is not hot tea or hot brewed coffee.

Four new spicy drinks offered this spring

Last week, Starbucks began offering four new spicy beverages.

The new drinks are available this spring while supplies last, Starbucks said.

As described by Starbucks, they are:

  • Spicy Dragonfruit combines sweet flavors of mango and exotic dragonfruit shaken with ice, real dragonfruit pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend
  • Spicy Pineapple features flavors of pineapple and passionfruit shaken with ice, real pineapple pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend
  • Spicy Strawberry brings together sweet flavors of strawberry and acai shaken with ice, real strawberry pieces, zesty lemonade and Starbucks Spicy Chili Powder Blend
  • Spicy Cream Cold Foam was crafted with Starbucks classic cold foam and Spicy Chili Powder Blend and can be added to any Starbucks beverage. Try adding Spicy Cream Cold Foam to a Cold Brew for a coffee with a kick, or enjoy it with an Iced Chai Tea Latte for a delicious combination of spices.
